The best UK fintechs of 2023 were crowned at the hugely successful ceremony last night.
From the hundreds of submissions we received, the UK FinTech Awards 2023 judges debated and deliberated to select 21 winners, which were revealed at the ceremony in London.
The room was filled with executives from the best fintechs in the UK, the expert judging panel and other prominent people from within the industry.
The biggest award of the night, FinTech of the Year, went to Wise because the FX fintech has “attacked a real customer pain point—commission charges—and significantly reduced it. This has resulted in significant savings for customers.”
Other big winners on the night include Richard Davies from Allica Bank, who won Director of the Year, Janthana Kaenprakhamroy, chief executive officer of Tapoly, who took home the Innovator of the Year award, and Lissele Pratt from Capitalixe, who bagged Rising Star of the Year.
Other notable winners include Moneyhub, which won both Personal Finance Tech of the Year and Pensions Tech of the Year.

And we must give a big round of applause to the judges, who put in a huge effort to pick the winners out of the record number of contenders we had this year.
