26 Jun First judges confirmed for UK FinTech Awards 2020
Stephen Ingledew of Fintech Scotland and Will Thorne of the FinTech Delivery Panel are the first judges to join the independent panel of the UK FinTech Awards 2020.
Ingledew is chief executive of FinTech Scotland, the enterprise established by the Scottish government, University of Edinburgh and the private sector to drive economic growth in financial services through innovation, collaboration and inclusion.
He has previously held senior executive roles with large institutions such as Standard Life and Barclays, as well as small innovative enterprises.
Thorne is innovation leader at the Lloyd’s of London Channel Syndicate, as well as chair of the UK Insurtech Board and one of three insurance industry representatives on the Tech Nation-led Fintech Delivery Panel.
As members of the judging panel for the UK FinTech Awards, the new judges will participate in the debate and discussion on entries for the 2020 event.
The independent judging panel is formed of experts in a range of financial services areas, hailing from across the UK to ensure a robust judging process.
