07 Jan Eight experts to judge UK FinTech Awards 2020
Eight prominent technology and financial services leaders will judge entries for the UK FinTech Awards 2020.
Tony Craddock of the Emerging Payments Association, Charlotte Crosswell of Innovate Finance, Steve Harper of Invest Northern Ireland, Stephen Ingledew of FinTech Scotland, Ruth Milligan of techUK, Gillian Painter of The Investment Association and Velocity, Will Thorne of the FinTech Delivery Panel and Phil Vidler of FinTech Alliance are the confirmed judges for 2020.
The judging panel will convene approximately two weeks following the entry deadline on 24 January to make their final decisions.
Each and every judge has been invited to join the judging panel based on their expertise, experience and positions in technology and financial services.
The panel is entirely independent and judges with conflicts of interest in categories will not participate in the judging of those categories.
Following completion of the judges’ meeting, the UK FinTech Awards team will then get in touch with every entrant to let them know whether they have been shortlisted as a finalist and are in with a chance at the ceremony on 2 April.
Held at London’s Leonardo Royal Hotel St Paul’s, the 2020 ceremony is a black-tie event that includes a welcome reception, three-course meal and the awards ceremony
